How to Get Started Using A CMS

05:59 |

Using CMS to manage a website is relatively simpler task but using it to set up a website is difficult task. You must hire a professional, either an agency or a freelancer, to do this job for you because it takes both web design and web development knowledge. Once the CMS has been designed, a computer savvy or professional and manage the website easily from the back-end. However, someone who understands CMS website development well is best suited to perform this task.

The CMS is known for its simplicity to manage and anybody with the access to the back-end can really update articles, post blogs, change page contents, upload a video or create a poll on the website. The content will be immediately published and available on the internet. There are different levels of user access, in every different CMS platform. The administrator access is generally the highest form of access which gives unlimited power while the user access is the most basic access level, at least, in WordPress.

A salesman, for example, can be given only a user access, who can alter the price of a product or add discounts. The graphics designer of the company can be allowed only to upload images and nothing else. The writers can be given the access to add, delete, modify or edit the content on the blogs or on the webpages. As you can see, CMS is such a relief when it comes to simple website management.
