Web design is the way of presenting content to the user of the internet. Web design includes images, texts, audio video and other contents. Thanks to the WYSIWYG editors, it has become a less cumbersome way of creating captivating websites. As the programs for creating websites became easier to use and offer more interactive ways of presenting the content, almost anyone can now afford to have a website done for cheap. Programs which were expensive and difficult to use are gone now. Many agencies are now offering affordable web design in Thailand to their clients.

Websites can be of two types, static and dynamic. Static pages have static content and they don’t change. Dynamic pages change their content and appearance, depending upon the end user. In more advanced website, we can see a mix of static and dynamic pages.

One should not confuse between web design and web development. While designers work on the visual factors of the website, web developers work on the codes which run the website. In other words, while developers build the back-end of the website, the designers build the user-facing front-side of the website.

One nice advantage of technology has been the advent of content management systems which allow the contents of any webpages to be updated without any programming skills or change of codes. This certainly cuts down the cost of maintaining a website.

When you are planning to build a website, it is very important to consider the exact need. You should think about the target audience and the purpose behind building the website before you decide what content you would use on the website.
